This file will explain you how to set up and use the “Customer Review Images & Ratings” WordPress plugin.
This file looks extensive so you might think that, the plugin is hard to use, but actually it's not! You probably might jump to the options page and explore everything yourself. This file is more of a reference help, if you do not know what to do, or if you are not familiar with WordPress.

Overview - top
Our plugin takes reviews to the next level by introducing modified reviews that enable users to include images along with their review text
In our plugin, we have replaced the standard star rating with a unique rating system which displays overall star ratings.
Installation - top
2.1 Install plugin - top
Install dependency plugin
- Initially install Wordpress as per online documentation.
- Download the woocommerce plugin.
- Then locate folder path /wp-content/plugins.
- Place the downloaded plugin in that folder and extract it.
After that you can view the plugin added in the list in admin area,
2.2 How to install through FTP #1- top
Install plugin
- Initially install Wordpress as per online documentation.
- Download the Customer Review Images & Ratings Wordpress Plugin.
- Then locate folder path /wp-content/plugins.
- Place the downloaded plugin in that folder and extract it.
After that you can view the plugin added in the list in admin area,
2.3 How to install through Admin Panel- top
Install plugin
- Initially install Wordpress as per online documentation.
- Download the Customer Review Images & Ratings Wordpress Plugin.
- Then Go to Wordpress admin panel -> plugins.
- Click Add New --> select Customer Review Images & Ratings Wordpress Plugin Zip.
- Install and active the plugin
How the plugin functions - top
By activate the plugin image upload field will appears in the review section where you can add multiple images.
The review image will appears next to the review comments.
- By default upto two images will shows, more than that it will shows in popup field. By clicking + button The popup will shows.
Image below , Shows the popup.
Clicking on an image in the popup will open it in a fancybox popup, providing a larger view of the image.
- The overall rating will show like the below image
- If users gives 1 star (Low) rating bar will indicate in Red
- If users gives 2 star (Medium) rating bar will indicate in Orange
- If users gives 3 star or more rating bar will indicate in Green
You can use this shortcode [overall_rating] to display ratings where you need.
